This is Scripture Roundtable 125 from The Interpreter Foundation, in which we discuss the New Testament Gospel Doctrine Lesson #27, “He Is Not Here, for He Is Risen,” focusing on scriptures in Matthew 28, Luke 24, and John 20-21, bringing in various insights to help us better understand the scriptures. These roundtables will generally follow the 2015 Gospel Doctrine schedule of scriptures, a few weeks ahead of time.

  1. Wonderful insights. Thank you for the opportunity to listen in on this forum and gain better understanding of the ‘gospels’. I particularly liked the comment made by Jeffrey Bradshaw “praising the cup and rejecting the fountain”… its the fountain that matters most most and continues to give life.
