This is Scripture Roundtable 126 from The Interpreter Foundation, in which we discuss the New Testament Gospel Doctrine Lesson #28, “We Are Witnesses,” focusing on scriptures in Acts 1-5, bringing in various insights to help us better understand the scriptures.   1. During todays lesson I had the question as to why the early apostles didn’t get the gift of the holy ghost earlier in their calling than the day of pentecost? Is their a scriptural explanation for this, or just assumptions we can make from other insights or customs?
